Jessie L Dolson is a case study in the need for a return to the concept of public executions. Far too often convicted killers are returned to the community only to recommit the crimes which renedered them unfit for life in a free society in the first place.
Jessie L Dolson is a case in point. (link to FOXNews) Convicted of murder, and recently released from prison, Jesie L Dolson committed an act of murder against six people including four adults - all shot, and two children who were stabbed or beaten to death. Also ivolved were three more children who were attacked but survived.
Bleeding heart liberals always tell us "It's for the children" This is a case where it might well be taken literally as for the children. Jessie L Dolson is thug, he happens also to be one of Gods children, but he is a thug and a murderer. It is not certain if the DA in the case will seek the death penalty, but this a case which cries of for a Public Execution. Made available on a new PBS offering. The PEC (Public Execution Channel.) When Executions in this country were a public venue and the perpetraors of crimes against society were able to see, hear and be affected by the result of their crime, crime stats were much lower. And lower for a good reason! No one wanted to be on the gallows, kicking their feet in mid air for all to see.
